Drayton O'Steen

Drayton O’Steen is a seventh-generation North Floridian, born and raised in Tallahassee, Florida. He graduated from Leon High School in 2014 and went on to attend The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa and Florida State University.

During college, Drayton became actively involved in politics, contributing to campaigns at every level—from Tallahassee City Commission races to the Governor of Florida.

Afterwards, he relocated to Miami, where he and a childhood friend founded a small insurance office. Over three and a half years, they grew the business to serve thousands of clients from three locations.

While living in Miami, Drayton served as President of the Rotary Club of Miami Shores for the 2024–25 term and as Membership and Youth Outreach Chair for 2025–26.

In July 2026, Drayton returned to Tallahassee and joined Avant Huston Financial Group as Operations Manager.

A lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church—where he was baptized and confirmed in 2009—Drayton is an avid golfer and passionate college football fan. He values time spent with family, especially his grandmother, Margaret, and his nephew, Wesley.
